Today our hallway was full of famous people from the past and present.

We were awarded the coveted Shelf Elf award for our exemplary behavior in the U.P. Library.

Groups of students conducted research and presented that research on a specific region of the United Stated. Enjoy the photos of our groups - representing the Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest, and West Regions.

Today (9/19/08) was Grandfriends Day. Students ate a special lunch in the gym with their Grandfriends and then returned to the classroom to visit. Students then put on a special performance for their Grandfriends in Panther Auditorium.

During the first week of school, students surveyed one another and created bar graphs showing their favorite subjects, sports, sports teams, specials classes, and holidays. They even learned about the pets they have at home. Enjoy getting to know them better!

Every Friday we have the chance to listen to a special reader! We love sitting beside and listening to our special readers!
